We are excited about our second 2-Mile Swim Challenge on Sunday, May 26th.
About the 2 Mile Swim Challenge:
This is an unsupported swim.
You will be swimming at your own risk.
The swim starts at Lowdermilk Park and ends at the Naples Pier.
You will need to walk back to Lowdermilk Park.
If you donβt want to walk back:
We suggest if you are swimming with a friend or two, you can park one vehicle in the parking lot at the pier and then drive back to Lowdermilk for the start.
Let us know if you would like to help shuttle people in the morning.
Please make sure you arrive early if you are planning on shuttling cars.
Message us if you can help, will need help or with any other general questions.
If you want to walk back:
We suggest you swim with a swim buoy so that you can carry a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen for the walk back to the start.
Of course, you could always swim back.
Bring a beach chair and stay at the beach after the event to celebrate Memorial Day and meet up for breakfast afterward.
This open water swim training will help you feel more comfortable in the open water and will help you sight better.
This is a family-friendly event. It’s great training!
